Dr. A.S.Bawa is working as Director Urology & Chairman of Minimal Invasive Surgery in Urology, at Fortis Hospital, Mohali. Dr. Bawa was the Head of Department, Urology at Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh. Dr Bawa has done his MS and M Ch from PGIMER and was also head of Department of Surgery in GMCH.

He is credited with over 15,000 surgeries during his career, which includes procedures pertaining to urinary stones, prostate and kidney diseases etc.

He has been on various important committees of Government Medical Hospital, sector 32, Chandigarh like purchase, technical , literary , academic and research , sports committee.

He has been on advisory board of various health departments like Punjab Health System Corporation, Director Health Services, Punjab.
